What is the difference between DV Cart and DV Digital Shop?
DV Cart is a program for physical (tangible) and/or digital products with multiple payment gateways support. DV digital Shop was designed only for digital products and PayPal IPN system.
DV Cart is a multilingual script, DV Digital Shop currently available only in English.
DV Cart and DV digital shop have different coupons options.
Which type of license do you offer?
Script has 2 types of license: one domain license and multiple domain/web hosting license.
If you need to build 1 store for yourself or for your client you can purchase one domain license,
And if you want to install script on multiple sites (for you or your clients) or you are hosting company you need to purchase multiple domain license.
Do you encode your scripts with Zend or IonCube?
No, we don’t encode scripts and it has open source code, you can modify it according your needs.
Which type of hosting do I need to run script?
Hosting/server requirements: PHP 4.2+, 1 MySQL database (you can also use existing database, database tables have prefixes). For PayPal Pro and Authorize.Net (AIM) you’ll need also SSL certificate for your site.
Coupons system
DV Cart has another coupons system instead of DV Digital Shop: you can insert coupon code in Admin and then send coupon codes to customers individually or in Newsletters.
Coupons will be applied to products individually. (DV Digital Shop – coupon code will be applied to whole Order).
I have sale and receive payment but status of payment is still ‘Canceled’ in admin.
You didn’t enable IPN in your PayPal account or didn’t set Auto return page if you’re using another gateway. (Please use Admin Help how to enable it).
This action is not required only for PayPal Pro US and Authorize.Net (AIM).
I don’t see digital product files in File manager.
Digital product files folder path is not set correctly. Please use Admin Help where you can find detailed description how to set this path correctly.
When I click on product link or category link I receive ‘Page not found’ message.
Your server doesn’t support rewriting dynamic URL’s. You need to clear checkbox ‘SE friendly URL’s for Apache servers..’ in Admin>Settings.
You can make it safely because major search engines indexes dynamic URL’s too.
